Scania appointed Andrés Leonard as president of commercial operations in America

As a complementary position to his role as CEO of Scania Argentina, the manager was appointed for the entire region.

The current CEO of Scania Argentina, Andres Leonard, was designated as President of Scania's Commercial Operations in the Americas Region (AMR), made up of operations in United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile y Argentina, in a complementary way to the functions that it will continue to fulfill in our country.

47 years old, Industrial Engineer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University Argentina, Leonard also has a E-MBA held at the IAE. He has been CEO of Scania Argentina since September 2018 and, previously, he also served as General Director of Scania in Peru.

Andres LeonardIt has more than twenty years of experience in Scania, working in various markets, such as Sweden, Portugal, Spain and Brazil, where he held different positions of responsibility in areas such as logistics, sales and services.

As of October, the Regional role will then be added, replacing Mats Gunnarsson, who in June 2021 assumed responsibility for global business operations.
