Frenchman Sébastien Loeb hinted that he could race again in the World Rally Championship after the test he carried out a few weeks ago with an official Citroën C3.
Seb, who currently races for Peugeot in off-road racing and RallyCross, is the most successful driver in WRC history with nine titles, 78 victories and 116 podiums.
“It is not something I would completely rule out, but it is not something I am thinking of doing right now. One thing that is certain is that if I return to the WRC it would not be to run a whole season, I would do it from time to time for fun as happens in the French Championship, "said the 43-year-old.
Loeb's test with the C3 allowed him to get in touch with the new vehicles released this year. “Obviously, they are very different from the vehicles that I used to drive; so the sensations and feelings are very different. It's definitely a fast, competitive car, but it's not easy to drive. On a dry surface it is good, but it becomes more difficult on wet terrain. Although that also depends on the compound tires that are being used ”, finished the multiple champion.[sam_pro id = 1_20 codes = ”true”]
