smart eSUV: A new compact electric SUV is coming

The world premiere of the new smart model will be at IAA Mobility 2021 next September.

With more than three months before its world premiere in the IAA Mobility 2021, scheduled for next September, smart offers a first look at the design of your new model SUV fully electric.

The first smart SUV is based on the SEA high-tech modular platform from Geely and offers the ideal combination of innovative design and state-of-the-art technology.

smart eSUVThe iconic exterior design, for which smart is known globally, comes from the Mercedes-Benz Design Department and it is still recognizable in the new model, but with a completely revamped look.

The designs of the UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) will also have unique and very eye-catching elements. These include details such as hidden door handles, certain illuminated elements, as well as a large panoramic roof.

The design language will be that of a high-tech battery electric vehicle, with a spacious and modern interior space combined with a premium look and feel.

In addition, the new smart will be a mobile technology device, with features such as voice control or a digital key as standard on all vehicles.
