
Buying an entry-level car is much more difficult for the average person today than it was two years ago. While in 2018 they needed 11,2 salaries average, today you need 19,3. This was revealed by a study carried out by the Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (TO FACE).

The amount of salaries required to buy it is the highest since 2015 till the date. In that year 12,2 salaries were needed; in 2016, 14,1; in 2017, 12,1; in 2018, 11,2; in 2019, 17,4; and in 2020, 17,7.
As ACARA explains, "This situation particularly affects those who enter the market for the first time and accentuates the trend that has been evident for some time."
In that sense, he explained that in the last six years the percentage of sales to people who had never owned a car "It fell from 36% to 22%, having hit a floor of 19% in the middle of last year."
