TAG Heuer elevates the Carrera to a level of luxury and elegance

The Swiss watchmaker presented the new collection of his iconic model, first presented in 1963.

On the occasion of the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the brand, TAG Heuer presented a new collection of its iconic chronograph TAG Heuer Carrera. Immortalized in four versions, they are characterized by their elegance and by their contemporary and refined design.

The sophistication of this reinterpretation of the iconic model lies in its stylish stainless steel bezel, designed without a tachymeter scale in order to preserve the overall aesthetic of the unforgettable TAG Heuer Carrera watch with silver dial first launched in 1963.

TAG Heuer CarreraThis impressive specimen of 42 mm it preserves the functionality of the chronograph by means of two pushers and subdials. Available in opaline black and in blue, anthracite or brushed silver; and finished ray of sun, the dial has subdials with "azurage" effect at 3 and 9 o'clock and a small continuous second at 6 o'clock, above a discreet date window.

The black and blue dial models feature a sleek H-shaped stainless steel bracelet. The inside and outside link angles are rounded to give the bracelet a more fluid appearance, which is also thinner for comfort.

TAG Heuer CarreraThe two-tone version with a silver dial and rose gold-plated hands, and the model with an intense anthracite dial, are accompanied by a beautiful brown crocodile leather strap. The screw-down sapphire caseback allows you to see the innovative in-house movement inside, a fascinating detail now even more exclusive thanks to its rose gold-colored oscillating weight.

The new redesigned models are powered by the Caliber Heuer 02 movement, visible through the transparent case back. The set consists of 168 componentsincluding a column wheel and vertical clutch and features an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
