On the occasion of the 2021 edition of the Historic Monaco Grand Prix, TAG Heuer added a new limited edition piece to its legendary Monaco collection: the TAG Heuer Monaco Green Dial.
This chronograph shows a color trend in watch dials that is very popular with watch collectors and fans, a deep emerald green.
This dial tint, never before seen on a model by the Swiss watchmaker, features a new version of the TAG Heuer Monaco and highlights the unmistakable design features of the iconic square case steel watch.
The dial's gradient color, from light green in the center to dark green at the edge, conveys a sense of speed. The green color also recalls the famous covered part of the Monaco Grand Prix track, which precedes the port chicane
In subtle contrast to its vibrant sunray brushed dial are two black sub-dials and rhodium-plated indexes and hands with Super-LumiNova White. With a reflective consistency, the engraved markings on the oscillating weight and column wheel of its internal movement are also green and visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
Distinctive and timeless, the watch is presented with a black lizard leather strap and is powered by the sophisticated manufacturing movement Caliber Heuer 02, which has an impressive reserve of 80 hour march. This 39mm TAG Heuer Monaco Green Dial Automatic Chronograph is available in a limited edition of NOTE 500.
The TAG Heuer Monaco Green Dial will also be presented in a new packaging that was created to evoke the racing heritage of the TAG Heuer Monaco collection.
