TCR South America: Onze Motorsports confirmed their participation

The Brazilian team founded by Nonô Figueiredo will have an Audi RS3 LMS TCR.

The Brazilian team Onze Motorsports, created and directed by Nonô Figueiredo, confirmed his participation in the TCR South America, the brand new category of touring cars that will begin its first season in 2021.

Onze Motorsports, which achieved victories and titles in the Brazilian Brands Championship Between 2015 and 2017, he will race one of the most competitive cars in the current TCR international championships that take place in the world: the Audi RS3 LMS TCR.

“I have been following the TCR championships since 2015, when they started in Europe. In the last two years it has had a great growth with 30 international competitions with excellent level. I chose the Audi RS3 LMS because, in addition to being developed by Audi, it is one of the most respected brands in motorsports worldwide. This vehicle also achieved, on average, the best results among the more than 12 models that are homologated to compete in the TCR. ", Figueiredo explained.

“Nonô Figueiredo has winning stories on his resume. His presence in the inaugural season of TCR South America, as the leader of the Onze Motorsports team, will be very important to the championship. TCR South America will have in its debut season a schedule of eight stages with 14 runs. Six dates will have two competitions; while the rest will be on a test of 200 kilometers of tour and with a guest pilot.

The new series will go through four countries, in the following order of disputes: three in Brazilone in Uruguay, Three in Argentina and the final in Chile.
