The first season of TCR South America, which will start in the 2021will feature two long runs, one in the Argentina and another one in Brazil. In these events they will participate two drivers per car, one owner and one guest.
In total the championship will have Eight events. In addition to the two mentioned long-term events there will be six other double dates, that is, with two races each.
In the coming weeks, TCR South America will announce its 2021 calendar that will feature presentations in the countries mentioned above, plus Chile and Uruguay.
The specialty reported that there will be a special trophy for amateur pilots who do not have motor racing as their main professional activity and also a recognition for the best rookie, which will be at stake among those young people up to 25 years of age who have not previously competed in touring car categories.
The TCR regulation, which will debut in the region, is used by 36 championships around the world with a total of more than 900 participating cars representing different brands.
