“After having been third here four times in 2018 and 2019 I said to myself 'this year I need to win' because I like this circuit; I finally did. Also today is a great day for me because it is my birthday and this is a good gift. I'm very happy because yesterday we worked a lot and made improvements on the bike. It was very hot and that made it not an easy race ”, summarized Razgatlioglu, who turned 25 today.

Rea also made a good start and that allowed him to move from fifth to second place, although he did not have enough speed to fight for the victory. The champion had to settle for second place and the loss of five points in relation to those who reached this appointment.

Rea, his rival in the fight for the scepter, stated: “I really enjoyed the race, but for tomorrow we will try to be a little stronger. We have plans to make some changes to the bike and challenge Toprak tomorrow. ”

The last step of the podium, meanwhile, was for the Italian Michael rinaldi (Ducati). The Top 5 was completed with English Alex Lowes (Kawasaki) and the Italian Alex Bassani (Ducati), who remained third in the first part of the competition.

Leandro Mercado (Honda) finished 16th in an acceptable race and in which he had to endure the stalking of Redding for several laps as he tried to regain positions after the premature crash. “It was a difficult day… In qualifying we improved compared to yesterday, but the crash at the end prevented me from improving. The race was even more complicated because I suffered a lot with a vibration ahead when braking. I had already had it yesterday, but in the competition it was accentuated more. I am disappointed because I expected a little more ”, Tati explained.

While Marco Solorza y Luciano Ribodino (with Yamaha paths) they finished 18th and 19th closing the classification.

En WorldSSP French Jules cluzel (Yamaha) continued to dominate and won after starting from pole. Andres Gonzalez (Yamaha) finished 16th in over 47 seconds; while Matias Petratti (Yamaha) quit on lap six.
