Toyota Argentina completes the range of commercial vehicles with the launch of two new versions of Toyota Hiace: the Commuter and the Car. Both, imported from Japan and destined for the passenger transport segment, are added to the vans presented in 2019.
The Hiace Commuter is a commercial passenger transport vehicle with a capacity for Per people (13 passengers + driver), versatile and efficient, capable of transporting passengers in a practical way. Ideal for urban and interurban routes such as charters, transfers to hotels or airports and / or tourism.
While the Hiace Wagon offers a capacity for Per people (9 passengers + driver) ensuring the maximum level of comfort, exclusivity and safety for its occupants. It has great equipment and features that make it ideal for the entertainment industry, VIP tourism, transfer of executives and embassies, among others.
Both versions are equipped with the reliable Hilux engine-transmission assembly, with a different set-up, oriented to the use for which they were conceived. The Toyota 1GD engine, which is characterized by delivering power and torque progressively from a low rpm, delivers a maximum power of 163 CV at 3.600 rpm with a maximum torque of 420 Nm in the regime between 1.600 and 2.200 revolutions per minute.
This impeller is associated with the efficient six-speed automatic transmission with Hilux torque converter, which maximizes ride comfort and has proven reliability in commercial applications.
Hiace is made on a self-supporting platform with an annular structure that gives it a high resistance to torsion, something that ensures a higher level of dynamic performance and durability in all load conditions.
