Toyota confirmed that he will preview his new Electric SUV mid-size battery in the next Shanghai Auto Show 2021 to be held from 21 to April 28.
Announced within the framework of Kenshiki Forum held at the end of 2020 virtually for the whole of Europe, the model will be based on the new e-TNGA platform, very versatile and easily adaptable to various types of products.
The basic structural principle of the e-TNGA platform is that there are a series of elements that remain unchanged while others are changing. Thus, it is possible to introduce various variations within the limits of width, length, wheelbase and height of the vehicle.
The e-TNGA platform can be configured with front, rear or all-wheel drive and accommodates a wide range of battery and electric motor capacities depending on the different types of vehicle and customer profiles targeted by each model.
The versatility and flexibility of e-TNGA technology enables Toyota to design and create vehicles that are not just battery-electric, but also vehicles to enjoy behind the wheel.
