Valentino Rossi will be able to run the European GP

Finally, the Italian Valentino Rossi, from the official team Yamaha de MotoGP, you can participate in the European Grand Prix this weekend after complying with the two negative COVID-19 tests required by the protocol of the Motorcycle World Championship. The last one was done before entering the circuit of Valencia (Spain), scene of the competition.

Rossi, who tested positive for coronavirus on October 15, had his first negative on Thursday, ending his isolation as dictated by Italian law.

Valentino RossiThis allowed him to travel to Spain at night, and upon arrival in Valencia he remained in isolation until a second PCR was performed, which again tested negative. Consequently, he was enabled to compete in the Valencian event.

Due to the uncertainty about his presence, Yamaha summoned the American Garrett gerloff, pilot of the brand in the World Superbike, who at least had the chance to turn on a MotoGP in the two rounds on Friday (16th and 19th).
