Tanal Entertainment Sport & Media, company owned by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abullah Al Saud of the Saudi royal family, confirmed that in 2022 will disembark in the MotoGP by Team VR46 Italian Valentino Rossi.
This announcement assumes, then, that the multiple champion's team is ready for a new step in its history by competing in the senior category of the Motorcycle World Championship.
Although VR46 did not make an official announcement about its arrival in MotoGP, Tanal Entertainment Sport & Media had the luxury of providing some details, such as that the agreement of the Doctor's structure to race in the two-wheeled queen class is up to 2026 and that it will continue with its participation in Moto2.
Likewise, the official name of the team was revealed: Aramco Racing Team VR46 product of another agreement with the Saudi oil company that already has a presence in the F1.
It is unknown with which brand the VR46 will compete (Suzuki would have an advantage over the options of Yamaha and Ducati) and even who will be its pilots, although one of them could be Luca marini, Vale's brother who currently races in MotoGP with him Sponsorama Avintia.
Precisely, VR46 will fill the vacancy that Avintia will leave, which will leave the contest at the end of this year.
