Volkswagen unveiled its new commitment to mobility in cities, the new Streetmate and Cityskater, in line with its commitment to electric mobility, which also includes micromobility.
The Cityskater compact skateboard is a means of transport with two front wheels and one rear that has been designed to cover the last meters of the route, such as from the parking lot or the bus to the final destination.
This electric model, with a weight of 11,9 kilograms, it can be folded and stored in the trunk and can travel at speeds similar to those of a bicycle (20 km / h). The autonomy of this vehicle is 15 kilometers.
For its part, the Streemate is a electric scooter that is designed to travel medium distances and that seeks to avoid traffic problems, avoiding traffic jams and difficulties in finding parking.
The Streemate can circulate at speeds up to 45 km/h and it can be driven sitting or standing, depending on the homologation. The autonomy is 75 kilometers and the recharge time of the battery, which can be removed, is about 135 minutes.
