In the Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Camera (CAFAM) welcomed the implementation of the program in the sector with open arms Now 12 y Now 18, launched by the Government last Monday, June 3. The entity estimates that with this initiative there will be more movement and consultations to acquire units.

From the sector they detailed some characteristics of the specific application for the item, which establishes a decrease in the annual nominal rate. This will allow users to pay more accessible and lower-value fees. The program covers the entire country, which is expected to have a high level of adherence and to generate a positive impulse in demand.

“The Now 12 and Now 18 programs recently promoted by the national government are a very important engine and an opportunity to reactivate the sales of motor vehicles, which have been declining for months. We are very optimistic that it will be an important tool to generate demand and promote consumption in the sector ”, said Lino Stefanuto, president of CAFAM.

This program not only represents a benefit for the consumer, but also for the motor vehicle sector, which has suffered a drop of 54,7% year-on-year, according to the latest patent data issued by the entity.
